Daily paper "Dnevni Telegraf" is banned by the decision of the Serbian minister of informations Aleksandar Vucic aka Sandra Nacional. MUP closed their offices at 1 AM local Yugoslav time (4 PM PST)

October 18th 1999
Weekly editorial has been permanently canceled due to heavy censorship against independent media in Serbia. Only two independent news agencies are able to work while most of the press, daily papers and weekly magazines, is permanently silenced. Weekly editorial will be replaced with something similar to our "News" section combined with selected articles similar to our "Articles" section. Section will be updated daily with no or just short commentaries while larger commentaries will be published separately. Every month will have its own page so you should bookmark it and visit it daily.
January 4th 2001
It has been more than a year since FS Net was evicted. From that day we decided to suspend our work, mainly News and Editorial sections that were closed until further notice. On this day, Superior Court of the State of California for the County of Orange has reversed that illegal decision. This is truly a breakthrough that shows that justice can be satisfied sooner or later unlike in totalitarian countries where appeals are often pointless. Yugoslav Supreme Court never reversed a single decision that was in favor of Milosevic or his party members for the past ten years.
News and Editorial sections will probably reopen this month. We are not yet sure how will they look but stay tuned for more updates.
February 1st
Editorial starts today with only two news agencies, one independent FONET and one government TANJUG. Editorial will look like the one from late 1999, updated daily in monthly sections. Click on 2001 above.

News in Serbian are suspended indefinitely thanks to cancellation of FONET news services.
